From Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2016 airline-themed runway show, the iconic Mini Square Flap bag is crafted in white, navy and red plaid calfskin leather, featuring silver-tone ‘CC’ turnlock with tiny airplane embellishment on the front.
About the Classic Flap: Few bags can claim that they have grown in popularity (and value) since 1955 — and the Classic Flap is one of them. Originally launched as the “2.55”, the bag featured a rectangular turn-lock closure and a long chain-strap, as Coco Chanel was tired of carrying her purse in her hands.
